Behind.
I’ve never claimed to be good at keeping in touch. So you can’t really blame me for my lack of internet presence lately. Aside from my Twitter (which is mostly accessed by phone), I don’t post online anymore. It used to be a daily occurrence.
There are so many new developments to tell you all about that I certainly can’t catch up in one night and you don’t want to read it in one sitting either. The truth of the matter is that so much was going on in my life that I honestly didn’t have time to sit down and get it all out. Prior to my computer breaking, there was a whole lot of nothing and a whole lot of blogging. Maybe I have since gotten a life? Or maybe I’ve finally cured my addiction to the Internet? Maybe sitting at a desktop is driving me nuts so I can’t stand to be on it longer than 10 minutes at a time?
Whatever the reason, it’s no excuse not to keep up with my friends. I’ve failed in most forms of communication - Facebook, email, text messages, phone calls. I don’t return much more than a tweet, and 140 characters isn’t enough to catch someone up. If I’ve neglected you, I’m sorry and it is in no way a representation of your value to me as a friend. It’s more about what I’m doing when I receive your message and if I’m able to respond immediately. If I don’t respond almost immediately, then I probably wont because I’ll forget. You can only be so organized on an ipod.
Anyway, I promise to keep up with everyone more regularly as soon as I get another laptop. It shouldn’t be long.
